At 12:15 on November 27, a block freight train fully loaded with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) departed from Wuhai North Logistics Park of Baotou Railway Logistics Center, arriving at Jingtang Port Railway Station in Hebei province three days later. The cargo was then shipped by sea to Huangpu Port in Guangzhou. This marks CR-Huhhot’s first use of shipowner containers to transport a rail-sea intermodal through-bill product, as well as its first application of the “block train + liner service” model to organize through-bill rail-sea intermodal transport.
