On New Year's Day 2026, accompanied by clear and long whistle sounds, the Zhejiang CRE train (Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe) and a sea-rail intermodal train, both laden with "New Year gifts," simultaneously sounded their whistles and departed from Yiwu Railway Port and the Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port respectively. Under the efficient and convenient supervision and guarantee of customs, one train headed west, galloping across the Eurasian continent to deliver "Made in China" products to the hinterlands of Europe and Asia; the other headed east, connecting to ports and linking with maritime shipping to send "Yiwu-quality goods" to destinations worldwide. With one land route and one sea route launching in tandem, this not only demonstrates the resilience of Yiwu's global supply chain as the "world's supermarket" but also delivers New Year's blessings filled with goodwill across mountains and seas to consumers around the globe.
