On the afternoon of March 16, a container freight train carrying photovoltaic modules, auto parts and daily goods departed from the Jiangdu Logistics Base of the Nanjing Railway Logistics Center. It is expected to arrive at Luchao Port in Shanghai in about 12 hours, where the cargo will be transferred to maritime shipping bound for Europe. This marks the official launch of the Jiangdu-Luchao Port daily sea-rail intermodal freight train service.
