Starting from March 14, three key railway trunk lines in southwest China—the Baoji-Chengdu Railway, Chengdu-Kunming Railway and Shanghai-Kunming Railway—have launched a 46-day intensive overhaul program, which will continue until the end of April. Upon completion, the infrastructure foundation of these lines will be comprehensively strengthened, and their transport capacity as well as safety and reliability will be significantly improved.
