On the morning of January 21, China’s independently developed 35,000-metric-ton heavy-haul train successfully completed the world’s first automatic platooning driving trial. The achievement breaks the century-old control model of railway freight transport and is expected to bring fundamental changes to China’s railway freight operations in the future.
