Recently, on train No. K4864 from Pingxiang to Baiyun in Guangzhou, onboard staff acted as “temporary translators,” patiently helping foreign passengers translate menus and introducing meal options, allowing them to enjoy Chinese cuisine during the journey. In the scene, passengers were all smiles, expressing friendliness and gratitude through gestures.
As the train continued forward, passing through tunnels and across fields, those smiles that transcended language barriers and the warm moments captured in memory traveled along the rails, carrying the friendliness and hospitality of China’s young railway staff to even farther places.
